Founder and President of SBID, Dr Vanessa Brady OBE says: “The range of finalists this year, across all 14 categories, is a true reflection of the creative scope of the global design industry, depicting an international portfolio of projects from over 40 countries worldwide.” Entries were received from countries such as Latvia, Taiwan, the Maldives, Armenia, Rwanda, Sweden, Mexico, UAE and more.
Luxury interior design in London
Broad Walk is an impressive, modern new-build that stands proudly on Winchmore Hill’s premier road, with rolling lawns that lead directly to a bird sanctuary at the rear. The owners of this 13,000 square foot house lovingly designed and rebuilt it over a period of 6 years and as a result, it showcases cutting-edge design and contemporary finishes.
They were enormously proud of the outcome of the build and felt reluctant to furnish the property with bold finishes that might detract from the stunning interior architectural backdrop. However, the owners soon realised that the stark and minimalist interior proved too clinical and did not represent their personalities or lifestyle. They longed for a space that felt like home.
Feeling uncertain of where to begin, they contacted us to discuss their design vision and aspirations to transform their property into a beautiful home with a considered interior scheme that would feel grand yet welcoming. The outcome is certainly a magnificent family home with a sense of continuous space where the design details and colour palette merge to create a luxurious indoor-outdoor feel.
