Part of the design journey that we find incredibly rewarding is the process of interpreting a brief and developing a design that connects the lifestyle of our client with their space. This connection, whether interpreted through the layering of textural elements, luxurious materials and finishes, bespoke furniture pieces or unique storage solutions brings an interior scheme together while at the same time making the space feel personal and lived-in.
Consideration of every detail contributes to an interior scheme that exudes warmth, character and understated luxury. We’ve assembled a few design details featured in our recently completed Carlton Hill project in St John’s Wood that showcases exquisite attention to detail and the layering of textures and finishes to great effect.
This gently curved sofa with recessed arm detail and battered antique brass legs sits in the elegant reception room. The beautiful Zirma fabric from Rubelli glistens as it catches the natural sunlight and contrasts perfectly with the rich texture of the oatmeal rug. Cushions upholstered in Great Plains, Venetian Glass from Holly Hunt and Silk Beads from Evitavonni.
The stud or rivet detail on this curtain trim (hammered nailhead on leather from Samuel & Sons) is a chic style statement that complements the delicate pattern of the sofa, which has been upholstered in Soundwave, Sand & Steel from Holly Hunt.
The exquisite spiral detail of an elegant cocktail armchair with dark chocolate timber arms and legs set against the soft cream shade of Hudson River fabric by Jab Anstoetz.
A bespoke TV unit in the master bedroom features fluted detail and textured bronze handles. The timber unit has been sprayed an elegant shade of taupe.
A chic side table with limestone top and gold leaf, tapered legs sits in a tranquil corner of the master bedroom. We chose a significantly white limestone in a matt finish to contrast beautifully with the glistening effect of the gold leaf legs.
An oval coffee table with Carrara marble top and organically beaten dark bronze legs creates a beautiful focal feature in the elegant reception room. The marble and metal finishes contrast beautifully with the rich texture of the oatmeal rug.
A bespoke marble and metal coffee table sits at the rear of the reception room. The crisp Branco Ibiza marble top creates a striking contrast with the textured dark bronze frame and square legs. The Sands area rug from Tim Page carpets in Eggshell adds an extra layer of texture to this stylish and sophisticated space.

No detail has been spared in the design of this elegant guest bathroom or WC – a compact space that exudes elegance and charm. The top half of the walls features Jumble wallcovering from Tektura, with the bottom half in Bera & Beren wall tiles from Domus in a SAW finish with antique brass inlay. The Noble Imperial Grey marble counter top sits on top of the wood veneer vanity with antique brass Cadiz Hexagon knob handles. The layering of a satin bronze finish for the basin faucet adds further texture and visual interest to this desirable space.
