April is National Pet Month and for the last few weeks, an exhibition of bespoke dog kennels designed by architects, artists and designers from around the world has been on display throughout London.
This incredible initiative is called BowWow Haus London and is the first ever public exhibit of artistic dog kennels in Britain. The exhibition will culminate in a gala auction event at the iconic St. Pancras Renaissance Hotel on 26th April 2018 where the kennels will go up for sale to the highest bidder. Part of the proceeds raised from the auction will support pet charity Blue Cross and the Outdoor Arts Foundation.
Our designer dog kennel, Buddy Box
We jumped at the chance to be involved in this amazing initiative and chose corrugated steel for the design of our kennel due to its adaptable quality and opted for a warm, trans-seasonal colour palette. With carefully considered storage at one end and materials that keep the weight of the kennel low for easy transportation, we incorporated both aesthetics and functionality into the design of ‘Buddy Box’.
