Our Holland Park children’s playroom design is a favourite with the Houzz community. Having a young family, our client wanted an interactive, safe and fun space for their young sons to play. A blank canvas of white was created against which we could inject a burst of colour to make the room a vibrant and fun place to play. A similar approach was taken in the boy’s bedrooms with the use of wall stickers of their favourite superheroes.
Cleverly, the fixed finishes have been kept white so that the colours can be adapted as the children grow older, and well-placed shelves work at any age to house children’s toys and books. The joinery is designed with circular seating so that each child can have their own special place to watch the TV opposite or just relax. The colour red was used to make a bold statement and to create an impact in the room.
